Springdale To Get First New McDonald’s In 20 Years

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – The city of Springdale is getting its first McDonald’s in 20 years, according to the Springdale Chamber of Commerce.

The groundbreaking of the new McDonald’s took place on Friday (Aug. 15) at 9 a.m., and officials from the Springdale Chamber of Commerce and city of Springdale attended the event, according to a news release from McDonald’s.

This McDonald’s is the first new McDonald’s for the city of Springdale since one opened on East Robinson Avenue in 1994, the release states.

The restaurant will be located at the northwest corner of Elm Springs Road and North 49th Street, according to the release. It will be in the Hall Crossing Retail Center in front of the new Walmart, according to the release.

The building will be 4,400 square feet with seating for 71 people inside, the release states.

The restaurant is scheduled to open around Nov. 1 and will be open 24 hours a day, according to the release.

This new McDonald’s will employ 60 people, the release states.
