ROGERS (KFSM) – Police canvassed a Rogers neighborhood Tuesday while investigating a possible kidnapping. They are now looking for the public’s help in solving the case.

Rogers police began investigating the case Tuesday afternoon after a caller told authorities they saw an approximately 13-year-old girl with her arm hanging out of a car window yelling, “Help me!” near Chateau Drive and 28th Street, according to a statement released by Rogers police.

Area police on Tuesday received no reports of any missing people, but are treating the case as a legitimate abduction until proven otherwise, according to the Rogers Police Department.

Officers began canvassing the area shortly after the call came in at 4:30 p.m. The suspect vehicle is described as a gray or silver Chevrolet Trailblazer last seen heading west on Oak Street around that time.

The child is described as a white female around 13 years old, with brown hair in a pony tail. Police said she was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans and carrying a dark gray or black backpack.

Anyone with information on the case is encouraged to contact the Rogers Police Department.
