VAN BUREN (KFSM) - The Van Buren Police Department is looking for a suspect in the video above who they say broke into a Van Buren pharmacy from the roof.

The incident happened at approximately 11 p.m. on Aug. 16 at the Langston Drug Store at 1202 Main St., police said.

The suspect broke in through the roof and came through a ceiling tile above the store shelving, according to police.

When the suspect walked toward the back of the business, the alarm started to go off, and the suspect attempted to flee unsuccessfully through the front and back doors, police said.

Eventually, the suspect fled through the same hole in the roof. The alarm going off prevented the suspect from taking anything, according to police.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is encouraged to call the Van Buren Police Department at 479-474-1234. People can also call the River Valley Crimestoppers tip line at 78-CRIME.
