RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) – It was move-in day for students living in campus housing at Arkansas Tech University on Saturday (Aug. 23).
Members of the freshman class that will be living in campus housing began moving in at 7 a.m. Saturday.
“It’s been kind of a hectic process,” said Forrest Teeter, a student at Arkansas Tech University. “There’s a lot of people going up an down the stairs and elevators. It’s been pretty streamline, I guess. As streamline as a hectic process could be.”
A series of activities designed to introduce students to their campus and each other will be held over the weekend. A formal freshman orientation is scheduled to begin on Aug. 25.
Classes for the fall 2014 semester will start on Aug. 27.
