Authorities Search for Missing Muskogee Man

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA (KFSM) – Authorities in Oklahoma are searching for a 91-year-old Muskogee man who went missing early Monday morning (Aug. 25).

Atchilee Derrick was last seen at the Brentwood Care Center in Muskogee at 4 a.m., authorities said. Derrick was wearing a light-colored striped button up shirt, a white Islamic hat and light blue jeans when he was last seen.

Authorities said Derrick suffers from serious dementia, anxiety, depression and hypertension. He does take his medicine daily, which is causing concern for officers as they continue to look for him.

Authorities said Derrick is in imminent danger of injury or death due to his condition.
