Benton County Judge Bob Clinard says he’s planning on returning to work Tuesday (Sept. 2) after undergoing a heart procedure earlier this week.
Doctors performed a successful heart procedure on the judge Monday. He went home Tuesday (Aug. 26) and began recovering, according to his office.
Clinard said he experienced an emergency medical situation Friday and was hospitalized over the weekend. His heart rate was around 200 beats per minute, and he is taking medication to combat the issue, he said.
An attorney acting as a representative for the judge said earlier this week Clinard would return to work next week. Clinard said he is planning on returning next Tuesday, following the Labor Day weekend.
