WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – One woman is dead and a man hospitalized after a crashing their truck Wednesday (Aug. 27) morning, according to Arkansas State Police.
Kevin Cain, 40, of Lincoln was driving northbound along Highway 59 entering Washington County, when he veered to the right off into a ditch. Cain then over corrected to the left, crossing both lanes of traffic where he then hit the embankment head on. The truck then caught on fire, according to troopers on scene.
Danielle Bishop, 34, of Lincoln was a passenger in the truck. According to authorities, Bishop was pronounced dead on scene.
Cain was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center with injuries. According to Arkansas State Police charges are pending in the accident.
