Rain moved across the area late Monday into Tuesday with a much need break from the dry and near drought conditions that started to develop over the last week.

Here’s a look at rainfall today from the last 24 hours:

  • 1.43″  Springdale
  • 1.93″  Fayetteville
  • 1.04″  Van Buren
  • 1.23″  Fort Smith
  •   .72″   Booneville
  •   .68″  Clarksville
  • 1.16″  Sallisaw
  •   .69″  Poteau

Another round of rain is expected over the weekend and could drop another round of heavy rainfall along with noticibly cooler temperatures.
