FORT SMITH (KFSM) - A Pocola man is facing charges Tuesday morning (Sept. 2), after authorities said he stripped down to his underwear and refused to leave a Fort Smith gas station.
Authorities said they arrested Josh Spence, 23, at the EZ Mart on Highway 271 just after 4 a.m.
Police said the store clerk called them just before 3 a.m. after Spence refused to leave the property.
Once officers arrived on scene, they said it appeared that Spence high on drugs. He told officers that his entire family had been killed at that time, authorities said.
Authorities negotiated with Spence before handcuffing him inside the store, and taking him into custody.
Spence was arrested for disorderly conduct, according to officers on scene. However, officers added that he could be facing more charges.
