LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) – A group of demonstrators have taken to the streets, literally.

Several people are in the street at Broadway and 7th streets in front of McDonald’s protesting federal minimum wage, which is currently set at $7.25 an hour.

The demonstrators are physically in the middle of Broadway Street and Little Rock police have responded. Lt. Sidney Allen said there are approximately 50 demonstrators.

On THV11 at 9 a.m., Marielle Mohs reported that 11 arrests have been made. Lt. Allen said they were arrested for disorderly conduct, and once they are cited they will be released. He said he will release their names later today.
