NEW YORK (PIX11) Comedian Joan Rivers has died at age 81 after several days on life support at the Mount Sinai hospital in New York City.
Rivers was rushed to Mt. Sinai from a Manhattan doctor’s office on Aug. 28 when she had complications during an outpatient throat surgery.
The “Fashion Police” star stopped breathing during the operation, according to the New York Fire Department.
