FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A man involved in a Fort Smith shooting pleaded guilty on Thursday (Sept. 4), officials say.
Jonathan Willbourn pleaded guilty to manslaughter and felon in possession of a firearm with a habitual criminal enhancement, according to court officials.
Willbourn was sentenced to 20 years in prison, officials said.
The shooting Willbourn pleaded guilty to being involved in took place in January.
Authorities said they received a call on Jan. 25 regarding a disturbance and possible shots being fired in the area of 3509 Price Circle.
When police arrived at the location of the shooting, they found 28-year-old Robert Snider with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
