2 Juveniles Detained After Short Manhunt In Rogers For Person With Weapon

ROGERS (KFSM) – Two underage suspects were detained by police Thursday afternoon, after a short manhunt following a report of a juvenile with a weapon, according to the Rogers Police Department.

Officers on Thursday canvassed the neighborhood near the Rogers Activity Center on Olive Street in reference to the call. The suspects fled the area before police arrived, prompting officers to begin a search, police said.

Authorities responded to the area before 4 p.m. Police announced just before 4:15 p.m. the suspects had been located.

The underage suspects were detained and face pending charges, police said. Officers on scene could be seen interviewing a family at a nearby house after the incident.
