SPRINGDALE (KFSM) - Springdale stabbing victim Clifford Kunkle (39) is at home and recovering after his brother Dickie Spears (52) stabbed him multiple times in the elbow, ribs and under his arm.

Police said the incident happened in their parent's home at 618 Success Avenue in Springdale around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Kunkle spoke to 5NEWS on Sunday, and said his brother came to the house and was "acting crazy." He said he asked Spears to leave because Kunkle's young daughters were home at the time. Kunkle said he followed his brother outside to the front lawn, where Spears threw an oxygen tank at his chest.

Kunkle said the two began fighting, and said he didn't know his brother had stabbed him until he saw blood on his clothes. He said he crawled to the side of the house so another family member could take his daughters out the front door to another apartment. Kunkle said he was taken by ambulance to the Northwest Medical Center where he received over 25 staples in his upper body. He said he also has internal bruising.

Spears was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he now faces a felony charge of second degree domestic battery. Spears will have his initial appearance in front of a judge Monday morning (Sep. 22). He is being held on a $3500 bond.
