Fayetteville Jimmy John’s Location Affected In Data Breach

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Sandwich chain Jimmy John’s announced more than 200 of their business locations were affected in a data breach, including a location in Fayetteville.

The company posted a statement on their website along with list of affected locations. According to the list, the Jimmy John’s at 518 W. Dickson Street was exposed from July 1 to August 1 of this year.

In the statement, the company said it first learned of the breach, which involves credit and debit card data, on July 30. After a forensic investigation, the company learned the data was compromised after log-in information was stolen, and used to access systems at corporate and franchise locations.

According to the statement, customers who have been impacted are able to receive identity protection services from the company.
