FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – A Fayetteville man riding a motorcycle collided with a vehicle on Wednesday (Sept. 24), police say.

Dustin Norman, 34, was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle on West Salem Road near West Chaveaux Drive, according to police.

Norman was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center with a concussion and road rash. Norman was an inexperienced driver, and speed was determined to be a factor in the crash, police said.

Connie Dickson, 28, of Fayetteville, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and endangering the welfare of a minor near Dickson Street and South School Avenue, according to police.

Robert Lakin, 39, of Fayetteville was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest, police said.

Both were booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Sept. 25, according to police.

Dickson’s first hearing is scheduled for Sept. 26 at 9 a.m., according to the jail’s intake report.

Her bond has been set at $1,565, the jail’s intake report states.

Lakin’s first hearing is scheduled for Sept. 26 at 10:30 a.m., and he is being held on a $705 bond, according to the jail’s intake report.
