UA Police Investigate Dorm Sexual Assault

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Campus police are investigating a sexual assault they say happened at a University of Arkansas dorm Tuesday.

The alleged sexual assault occurred between 12:48 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. at Maple Hill South Residence Hall, according to UAPD.

Police said the suspect and victim are acquaintances, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.

Campus detectives are actively investigating, and police said they cannot release any more details of the case at this time.
