PEA RIDGE (KFSM) – The Pea Ridge Mule Jump scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 11) has been cancelled due to inclement weather, the organizers announced in a post on their website.
The Mule Jump was going to be held at the Pea Ridge High School.
The event started 26 years ago as part of the fall festival called Battlefield Daze, sponsored by the Pea Ridge Chamber of Commerce. The Mule Jump features three categories of mules jumping over fences, and mules are eliminated from the competition one by one based on how high they can jump, the website states.
