Crews Work to Put Out House Fire in Arkoma

Arkoma, Okla.,- Arkoma Fire Department along with the Pocola Fire Department worked for over an hour to put out a house fire in Arkoma.

Authorities say the call came in around six this evening to 1100 Choctaw Street.

Fire crews said no one was reported to be in the home at the time of the fire due to the home being remodeled.

Arkoma Fire Chief Jesse Little said he does believe the house is going to be a total loss.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

    wow another house fire this has become a epidemic for arkoma lol. old house’s magically burning down collecting the insurance checks! need to just them burn to the ground instead of putting them out and having half burned houses left all over the town. such a eye sore!
