We will wake up to 40s Friday morning, but the mercury won’t be rising much throughout the rest of the day. Strong north winds in the morning will keep temperatures in the 40s and 50s in the morning and early afternoon.

Highs will struggle to reach the low 50s Friday in NWA to the upper 50s in the River Valley. But expect it to feel cooler with a north wind in the afternoon. Bundle up the kids for trick-or-treating; temperatures will drop fast into the 30s and 40s by 7pm.

It would be a good idea to bring in the plants you can from outside and cover the outdoor plants for Saturday morning. Lows are expected to drop into the mid to upper 20s in Northwest Arkansas and the upper 20s and lower 30s in the River Valley. A Hard Freeze is likely across most of Northwest Arkansas Friday night into Saturday morning.
