This is a really great program. Whats sad is some abuse it. I know of one in our area who has a good job, nice home and cars and a regular on the golf course, but his wife will use the angel tree at the local Wal~Mart. Saw her last year get out of her new Yukon and take 2 angels in to put on the tree, grab a basket and start shopping. The angels were in the names of her 2 children.

I agree. I’ve known a lot to do the same. I try to pick a needy family, that I know personally or is recommended to me by a friend, and donate to them anonymously. I don’t give blindly because it then becomes abused.
