Local food blogger Lyndi Fultz has been helping us spice up the holiday season.

If you’re looking to add something different to the Thanksgiving meal, try making her Cream of Chunky Carrot Soup. All you need is broth, butter, onions, a carrot, a potato, salt, pepper, garlic and a little cream.

And don’t forget to make the meal charming!

“Charm is an inexpensive way to add a little bit of whimsy, something fun,” Fultz said.

She offers different juices at her holiday meals and keeps things charming by writing a catchy description of each juice on scrapbook paper, then tying it on to the pitcher with some twine.

“What`s neat about it is it brings smiles to people`s faces, and it makes that whole meal special,” Fultz said.
