LOWELL (KFSM) – The Springdale Police Department has arrested suspects involved in a Nov. 13 booze theft case, authorities say.

On Nov. 13, a business on South Bloomington Street in Lowell was burglarized, and multiple cases of alcohol were stolen by three suspects, police say. Surveillance video showed two males and one female making off with the booze, according to police. They fled from the store in a black four-door passenger car, police said.

On Nov. 14, the Springdale Police Department worked two additional commercial burglary cases around the same time frame and with similar circumstances as the original booze theft case in Lowell, according to a news release.

In Springdale, the suspects fired a shotgun into the front door glass in order to break into a business, the release states.

At 11 a.m. on Nov. 14, a Springdale patrol officer saw a black passenger car similar to the one used in the Lowell booze burglary on Powell Street. The officer checked records and confirmed the vehicle, a black Acura car, was stolen, according to the release.

The car was pulled over, and all five juveniles inside were arrested. Officers found a stolen shotgun in the car identical to the one seen in surveillance footage from the commercial burglaries, the release states.

All five juveniles face charges of commercial burglary, theft and continuing a criminal enterprise, according to the release.

The charges span two counties because the crimes took place in both Benton and Washington counties. The investigation is still ongoing by Lowell and Springdale officers, the release states.
