LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Two men got shot after responding to a Craigslist ad. Police say the men arranged to meet a seller to look at a car in a Little Rock neighborhood. But instead of showing the car, the supposed seller allegedly pulled a gun on them and used it.

One of the victims was looking for a new car and he asked a friend to go with him to check it out. When the two arrived to a neighborhood on Halifax Drive, the person they were supposed to meet demanded money instead.

“He told Brad to give him his money, and Brad said you will have to shoot me before I give you my money,” said Paul Green.

After that, Green says the man shot his nephew in the leg.

“It kind of freaked me out hearing that he got shot,” said Green.

Green says his nephew went with a friend who wanted to look at a car he found on Craiglist. According to the Little Rock Police Incident Report, when the men got to the arranged meeting spot in the 5200 block of Halifax Drive, the contact for the listing told them another potential buyer was test driving the car.

“The dude had a piece of paper in his hand,” said Green. “He told Brad to give him his money.”

The report says after one of the men got shot in the leg, the other victim grabbed the suspected shooter, tried to pin him down, but also got shot.

“I do not know what side it was on, but he got glazed on his side here,” said Green.
