VAN BUREN (KFSM) - A woman was arrested in a Van Buren aggravated assault gun incident on Nov. 20, police say.

Lynn McGhee, 49, of Van Buren was arrested and booked into the Crawford County Detention Center, and she faces charges of aggravated assault, obstruction of governmental operations and refusal to submit to arrest, according to a news release from the Van Buren Police Department.

At 2:30 p.m., Van Buren police were called out to the 1000 block of Fayetteville Road in reference to a woman (McGhee) who entered a business and appeared "disoriented," the release states.

Officers came to the business to make sure McGhee was okay, but before they arrived, she left (while barefoot) and went to another business in the same area. While there, she pulled out a black handgun and showed it to a woman at the front desk before leaving the business, according to the release.

When officers found her walking down Fayetteville Road, she appeared to be unsteady on her feet and disoriented, the release states. An officer told her to stop, and she didn't obey. She said, "I don't have to talk to you," the release states.

The officer then saw McGhee putting her hand in her pocket as she turned around and walked toward the officer. He drew his firearm and ordered her to get on the ground, according to the release.

When she pulled her hand out of her pocket, a handgun dropped to the ground. The officer then took McGhee into custody, the release states.

After her arrest, officers questioned her, and she answered all questions with either "Ghostbusters" or "You got punked," according to the release.

The woman who saw McGhee display her gun in the second business she entered told police McGhee had said to her, "You got punked" after pulling the weapon out of her pocket. It was later found that the weapon used was an unloaded black Airsoft gun, the release states.
