SILOAM SPRINGS (KFSM) – The Siloam Springs Police Department celebrated the grand opening of their new facility on Saturday (Nov. 22).
City leaders said around 300 people were in attendance. The event allowed residents to meet officers and tour the new building.
Siloam Springs Lieutenant Monty Balk said in the opening ceremony, “Today we look to the future of the Siloam Springs Police Department. We will be able to work more efficiently as servants to the -community in this new facility.”
The facility was made possible by a 2013 vote to reallocate a 1/2 cent sales tax.
