BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Tuesday’s (Nov. 25) runoff election results for the Bella Vista mayor’s race and other Benton County runoff elections are in.
Bella Vista’s new mayor will be Peter Christie with 85% of the vote to James “Jim” Wozniak’s 15%.
The new mayor of Cave Springs will be Travis Lee with 51% of the vote to Randall Noblett’s 49%.
In Bentonville, two City Council seats were up for grabs.
Ward 3, Position 2 went to W.P. “Bill” Burckart with 52% of the vote to Kristy Reed’s 48%.
Ward 4, Position 2 went to Jim Webb with 56% of the vote to Jim Grider’s 44%.
Of the 76,408 registered voters eligible to vote in the runoff election races, 6,652 turned out to cast their ballot, putting voter turnout at about 9%.
