SPRINGDALE (KFSM) – A truck carrying two backhoes went under the railroad bridge on Highway 71B in Springdale and clipped the bottom of the bridge, knocking one of the backhoes loose, police say.
The accident happened before 10:45 a.m. and shut down the roadway, according to police.
Pictures show that some of the metal of the bridge was chipped by the accident, but the full extent of the damage is unclear at this time.
The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad has been notified of the accident, police said. No injuries were reported, according to police.
