FORT SMITH (KFSM)- People all across the region celebrated Thanksgiving Thursday (Nov. 27).

But at Benson’s Grill, they start bright and early in the morning and serve until late at night.

"Boom, boom, boom get it done," cook Kenny Ross said.

He said he prepared his grill before the holiday rush.

"Probably about 200 people," Ross said. "So packed sometimes people will be standing outside to get in."

Ross said Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year.

"Just stay calm,” Ross said.

Customers like German Picaco said it's easier to eat out on Thanksgiving.

"This is a great meal. They've done a great job with cooking; I'm thankful for that," Picaco said.

Benson officials estimate about $2,000 in sales this Thanksgiving.

Benson's is open 24 hours.
