ROGERS (KFSM) – The 7th Annual NWA Turkey Trot is taking place Thanksgiving morning in Rogers.
It’s all put on by Sheep Dogs Impact Assistance, which is a group made up of past and current military men and women, as well as first responders.
Even though the event is being held on Thanksgiving, it’s actually all about Christmas. All of the money raised at the 5K will go toward providing children with toys, clothing and other gifts for Christmas.
The 5K starts at 9 a.m. at the Center for Non-Profits on West Walnut Street.
