FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Mustache Goods and Wears on the Fayetteville Square is one of many small businesses offering sales and discounts as part of Small Business Saturday.
Brian Bailey, owner, said they have a box with surprise discounts. Customers choose a piece of paper to reveal how much they’ll save. Shoppers can save up to 50 percent off their purchase.
He said this annual event helps their business.
“Small Business Saturday for us, I mean it’s crazy,” Bailey said. “It’s just an awareness campaign created by American Express and it really hits home.”
It always lands the day after Black Friday and the Saturday before Cyber Monday.
“After the craziness of yesterday and Black Friday we kind of see our little crazy day , at lease we historically have,” Bailey said.
He said they fill a different niche than big businesses.
“People want to be here and they want to visit and support their locally owned stores,” he said.
