BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) - Deputies with the Benton County Sheriff's Office made a $20,000 methamphetamine bust, according to a news release.
The drug bust happened on Dec. 2 when a search warrant was executed at a home in the 12000 block of Annes Way in Rogers, the release states.
A total of 204 grams of meth were confiscated by authorities, according to the release. In addition to the drugs, three handguns, four rifles, two commercial welders (valued at more than $10,000), $2,085 in cash, and a vehicle were also seized during the search, the release states.
Efrain Alaniz, 27 and Gabriela Garcia, 36, both of Rogers were arrested on suspicion of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and theft by receiving, according to the release.
Alaniz was on supervised felony parole and also faces a possible parole violation, the release states. He is also a known gang member in the community, according to the release.
Efrain Alanis-Perea, 55, and Geraldo Perez, 27, both of Rogers were also arrested and face charges of theft by receiving in connection with the stolen welders, the release states.
All four suspects have a scheduled court date of Jan. 12 at 8 a.m., according to the release.
Garcia's bond has been set at $10,000, according to the jail's intake report. Alaniz's bond has been set at $50,000, the intake report states.
Alanis-Perea's bond was set at $2,500, according to jail records. Perez has already bonded out of jail, the intake report states.
