WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – The Washington County Animal Shelter kicked off its angel tree program on Saturday (Dec. 6).
There are two trees set up in Fayetteville, one at the animal shelter and one at the Collier Drug Store location on Dickson Street.
The trees are decorated with paper ornaments and have three items off of the wish lists of cats and dogs in the shelter. The items on the wish lists range from toys and treats to litter and leashes.
Participants may take as many ornaments as they’d like and return the gifts to the drug store or directly to the shelter.
