Arrest Made After High Speed Chase In Benton County

BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) - One man is in custody after he led officers on a high speed chase in Benton County on Friday (Dec. 26), according to police.

Little Flock Police Chief Jesse Martinez said officers spotted a motorcycle traveling 55 mph in a 30 mph zone on McClure Road in Little Flock around 9 p.m. on Friday. Officers tried to stop the suspect, but he took off on his motorcycle and led them to a Wendy's in Bentonville where he wrecked, Martinez said.

Martinez said that the suspect was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville where he was kept overnight to be treated for unknown injuries.

Police have not released the suspect's name.

The suspect faces charges of  DWI, driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and fleeing, according to police.
