POPE COUNTY (KFSM) – A woman confessed on Dec. 29 to participating in the murder of Clint Brown in Pope County, deputies say.
Leslie Koster, 25, was interviewed at the Arkansas Department of Correction Female Unit in Pine Bluff concerning the murder case of Brown, according to a news release.
It was there she confessed to “participating in the homicide,” the release states.
She now faces a charge of first-degree murder, according to the release.
Two Pope County men, Nathan Hull, 24, and Michael Hall, 25, were arrested on Dec. 5 on suspicion of being involved in the murder case, authorities said.
On Sept. 8, 2009, the Pope County Sheriff’s Office was called out to a body that had been found north of Dover on Quicker Still Lane, the release states. That body was later identified as Clint Brown, 50, of Dover, according to the release.
Brown, a former truck driver, was found dead in his home, according to his obituary. He was also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, the obituary states. His funeral was on Sept. 14, 2009, according to his obituary.
“This case has been open and worked since day one,” Pope County Sheriff Aaron DuVall said. “The sheriff’s office, Arkansas State Police and Fifth Judicial Prosecuting Attorney’s Office have all worked closely over the past years on this case, and it has paid off.”
Hull and Hall both appeared in a bond hearing on Dec. 8 in front of Judge Don Bourne, the release states. Hull received a $300,000 bond, and Hall received a $100,000 bond, according to the release.
Investigators are also looking into other persons of interest involved with the case that may have purposely hindered or tried to delay the arrest of certain suspects, the release states.
