OZARK (KFSM) - A locally - owned restaurant continues to expand. Red Rooster Bistro first opened in Alma, then in Fort Smith, and now they're open for business in Ozark on Wednesday (Jan.7).

This restaurant first got started in Alma and was quickly a local favorite serving up home cooked meals. Then, they decided to take their sweet bread and pie over to Fort Smith opening up on Rogers Avenue.

Fast forward to about a year, and now Red Rooster Bistro is open for business in Ozark. So far, they have a staff of 12 employees at the new location. It's modeled exactly like their previous restaurants. You'll see the same country living decorations throughout the restaurant.

They're also cooking up the same menu, everything from sandwiches to hamburgers to their homemade pies.

The owner said they're excited to expand to other parts of the River Valley. "This has been a restaurant for many years and it's an excellent location," said owner Brenda Gregory. "People are talking about us and are really excited about us coming to town.

The doors open at 10:30 a.m. and will be open until 7 p.m.

The owner said they're in the works of opening up a fourth location at Chaffee Crossing. Construction on that facility is supposed to start any day. She expects doors will open up at that location sometime this summer.
