WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM)- The Springdale man accused of killing two people in Missouri on Monday (Jan. 5) and kidnapping his daughter faces new charges in Washington County.

Christopher Paschall, 37, was booked Tuesday (Jan. 6) in the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville. He was arrested one day earlier in Springdale hours after the  killings in Barry County, Missouri.

He was set to appear in court on Wednesday (Jan. 7) in Fayetteville to face a previous local charge regarding revocation of a suspended sentence. However, his court appearance was reset to Friday (Jan. 9) after authorities said they recovered  drug paraphernalia and firearms from the house in Springdale where he was arrested.

Records show Paschall's bond was set at $100,000 on Wednesday.

Springdale detectives said they found Paschall on Jan. 5 at a relative's home on Hidden Lake Street. The suspect had been on the run after investigators said he killed his ex-girlfriend, Casey Brace, her grandfather, Herbert Townsend, and kidnapped their 2-year old daughter Alli in Barry County, Missouri.

According to a preliminary arrest report, when Springdale police captured Paschall, they found several items at the house that could lead to additional felony charges against him locally. Officers said they recovered a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine and 19 firearms. Police also said they found two guns that had been stolen: a .44-caliber Sturm, Ruger pistol stolen in  Washington Count and a .22-caliber Marlin rifle stolen in Madison County.

Authorities said Paschall's local charges have to be addressed before he's given a waiver of extradition to Missouri.

In Missouri, the Barry County Prosecutor's Office has charged Paschall with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and armed criminal action, according to court documents. The prosecutor is also planning to recommend a $1 million bond.
