Vance Wilson Returns As 2015 Naturals Manager

Vance Wilson will be returning as manager for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals

SPRINGDALE (KFSM) - Vance Wilson will be returning to manage the Northwest Arkansas Naturals for the second straight year.

The Kansas City Royals announced the return of Wilson along with  Jim Brower as the team's pitching coach, and new hitting coach Brandon Moore. Masa Koyanagi will remain the team's Athletic Trainer and Austin Driggers will return as strength coach.

During the past off-season, Wilson lead the Peoria Javelinas to the Arizona Fall League Championship game. Wilson, a Springdale resident, is an eight year Major League veteran who signed with the Royals and played 59 games with the Naturals before retiring in 2010 ending a 15 year professional career. He first managed the Class-A Kane County Cougars in 2011.

Brandon Moore will begin his first season with the Royals organization after serving as the hitting coach for the Double-A Chicago White Sox team during the 2014 season.

The Naturals will begin their eighth season on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Midland, Texas. The first home game of the season at Arvest Ballpark is slated for Thursday, April 16, 2015.
