BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – A former Razorback arrested on suspicion of harassment days after being acquitted of murder has pleaded not guilty to new misdemeanor charges, officials said.
Joshua Melton, 34, was arrested at Lincoln Junior High School in Bentonville on Dec. 9 at 12:40 p.m. on suspicion of harassment, carrying a weapon and loitering, according to a news release.
On Tuesday (Jan. 13), his lawyer, Drew Ledbetter, entered a not guilty plea on his behalf in Bentonville District Court to harassment and loitering charges, court officials said. His next court date has been scheduled for March 18.
Melton bonded out of jail on Dec. 11. His bond was set at $10,000, jail records show.
