ROGERS (KFSM) - The Rogers Fire Department responded to a grass fire, which they’re calling suspicious, on Friday afternoon (Jan. 16).
Rogers Fire Department Chief Tom Jenkins said the fire threatened 14 homes near a drainage ditch near Post Road. Two homes were lightly damaged by the fire and a shed at a third home was destroyed, according to Jenkins.
One man who lives in the affected neighborhood said this is the second fire he’s seen near his property in six months.
Chief Jenkins said no families were displaced by the fire and on one was injured.
