FORT SMITH (KFSM) – A woman was hospitalized in a two-vehicle wreck in Fort Smith on Saturday (Jan. 17), according to the Fort Smith Police Department.
The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on the 7700 block of Highway 271, police said.
Police said a woman was traveling south when her car crossed the center line and hit a truck.
The woman had to be extricated by the Fort Smith Fire Department. She was taken to Sparks Regional Medical Center with critical injuries, according to police.
Police reported no other injuries in the accident.
