FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – One person is dead and two others are injured after a car accident in Fayetteville.
Robert Stuart was traveling west on AR Highway 16 Sunday (Feb. 1), evening when he was hit by another vehicle head on, according to a new release from Arkansas State Police.
Stuart was pronounced dead on scene.
Police said the other driver, Brian Hargis, crossed the center lane, hitting Stuart head on.
The accident occurred at 5:10 p.m. just West of Lake Wedington, according to police.
Hargis and another passenger, Angela Stuart, were taken to Washington Regional Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
