Rogers Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Two Children

ROGERS (KFSM) – The Rogers Police Department arrested a man on Jan. 31 accused of sexually assaulting two children, according to a news release.

Anthony Bauman Jr., 59, of Rogers was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on Friday and faces two counts of second-degree sexual assault, police said.

Authorities said the victim’s ages were 7 and 10 at the time of the assault.

Detectives started investigating Bauman on Aug. 28, 2014, after he was accused of having “inappropriate sexual contact” with two minors, the release states.

His bond was set at $50,000, and as of 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, he was no longer listed in the Benton County Jail’s intake report, authorities said.

According to authorities, Bauman’s next court date is scheduled for March 9 at 8 a.m.
