FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The University of Arkansas received a bomb threat call around 5 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 3), officials say.

The call was received at the University Telephone Office and forwarded to the University of Arkansas Police Department, according to a non-emergency campus alert.

A caller told police he had “placed bombs all over campus,” the alert states.

No specific areas were named in the call, and police said they do not consider it to be a “credible threat.”

Officials are on alert, but operations are continuing as normal, police said.
