LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. (KFSM) – A Heavener, Okla., man was killed early Friday morning in a fiery crash after being ejected from his vehicle, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Shae D. McLaughlin, 27, was driving westbound on Lovings Road near Hodgen in LeFlore County when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a concrete bridge abutment, according to a highway patrol fatal crash report. The report states the vehicle partially rolled, and McLaughlin was ejected during the crash.
The vehicle, identified as a Chevrolet Tahoe, burned up in the crash, troopers said.
The crash report lists the cause of the wreck as “unsafe speed on a curve.” The weather was clear and dry at the time, the report states.
