Police: Three Arrested After Drugs Found In Vehicle, Suspects Involved In Car Break-Ins

BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Three suspects were arrested after a Benton County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle at Cabela’s in Rogers and found drugs, authorities say.

The vehicle was pulled over on Feb. 6 at 9:50 p.m., and the deputy that stopped the vehicle noticed one of the occupants had a cut on his hand and glass on his clothing, according to an arrest report. Property was found in the vehicle that didn’t belong to the occupants, and they admitted to breaking into multiple vehicles and taking things, the report states.

The deputy contacted the Rogers Police Department and learned that three vehicles had been broken into nearby. Two vehicles were broken into at Chuy’s at 4889 W. Pauline Whitaker Parkway, and one was broken into at Malco Pinnacle Hills 12 at 2200 S. Bellview Rd., police said. All of the vehicles had a window broken into and possessions taken from inside, according to police.

One suspect was transported to a local hospital due to ingested pills, and the other two were taken to the Rogers Police Department to be questioned about the break-ins, according to an arrest report.

Jeffrey Don Earl Heathman, 33, was booked into the Benton County Detention Center on Feb. 7 at 1:23 a.m., jail records state. Those records also state he faces three counts of breaking or entering and theft by receiving. His bond was set at $15,000, and his court date is scheduled for March 16.

Michelle D. Garner, 42, and Brandon K. Hayes, 36, were both booked into the Benton County Detention Center on Feb. 7 and face three charges of accomplice to breaking or entering and theft by receiving, according to jail records. Their court dates have been set for March 16.

Garner also faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance, and her bond has been set at $7,500, jail records state. Hayes’ bond was set at $15,000.
