Razorbacks Put Up 101 Points In Win At Auburn

The Arkansas-Auburn game from Tuesday night can be summed up in one word. Unusual.

The Hogs became the first SEC team to break the century mark in league play with  a 101-87 win on the road moving to 8-3 in the SEC.

The game lasted two and a half hours, mainly because of 31 fouls called in the first half.

Arkansas committed 19 of those fouls but also got off to a hot start shooting. The Hogs made five of their first seven three pointers, including back to back triples by both Michael Qualls and Anthlon Bell to start the game.

Qualls scored 16 of his 19 points in the first half as Arkansas scored its most points in a half all season with 58.

Bobby Portis was quiet in the first half, only scoring 8 points, but came on in the second half with 14 points, finished with a game high 22.

Overall, Arkansas shot 53 percent from the field and 48 percent from three point range.

The Razorbacks have won six of their last seven games and play at Ole Miss Saturday night at 8 p.m.
