Polar Plunge Gives Back To Special Olympics

ROGERS (KFSM) – Brave men and women took the polar plunge at Beaver Lake in Rogers on Saturday (Feb. 14) to raise money for Special Olympics Arkansas.

Special Olympics Arkansas held its 16th annual Beaver Lake Polar Plunge fundraiser on Saturday at Prairie Creek Swim Area.

The money raised from the event will help Special Olympics Arkansas provide free year-round sports training and competition opportunities to  all children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The event brought over 300 plungers last year and raised over $48,000.
