Manny Watkins isn’t known for his scoring ability. That may be about to change.

The Arkansas sophomore went a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor but none as important as his floater with six seconds left to lift the Razorbacks to a 71-70 win at Ole Miss.

With the win, Arkansas takes over sole possession of second place in the SEC as they moved out of a tie with the Rebels and now have a game lead over Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Arkansas trailed 70-69 with time winding down as Rashad Madden drove the lane and appeared to be trapped near the baseline. The Razorbacks’ guard found a wide open Watkins on the opposite side of the lane and the Fayetteville native took care of the rest.

The Razorbacks were paced by Michael Qualls as he had 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting while Anton Beard added 14 and Bobby Portis finished with 12. Ole Miss was led by both Stefan Moody and M.J. Rhett as they each finished with 16 points.
