BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – A new exhibit opened Saturday (Feb. 21st) at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art featuring some of the world’s most celebrated and influential artists.

It’s titled “Van Gogh to Rothko: Masterworks from the Albright-Knox Art Gallery,” and the exhibit brought together 76 artworks from 73 different artists from the late 19th century to the present, according to a news release. It also stated that this marks the first time many of these storied pieces have toured in decades, and Crystal Bridges is only one of four institutions to host “Van Gogh to Rothko.”

A special preview started Saturday at 9 a.m. for members, and it was then scheduled to open to the general public right after. People got the chance to view masterpieces from artists such as Vincent Van-Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Mark Rothko to name a few.

Members, and patrons 18 Years-Old and under, get in for free, while general admission costs $10. The exhibit ends on Jun. 1st.
